April 28, 2010 - Photo 1 - April 28, 2010 - Today I attended the annual meeting/Spring Luncheon for the Royal Dames of Cancer Research. This is an organization of dynamic women who have been raising money for the Rumbaugh Goodwin Cancer Research Institute at Nova Southeastern University for the past 42 years. At the luncheon I was elected Recording Secretary.<pr>

$April 28, 2010 - Jessica June Children\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Cancer Foundation - On April 28, 2010, I participated in a ceremony for a 15 year old cancer patient from the U.S. Virgin Islands along with her family. They have been staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl since February. The Jessica June Children\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Cancer Foundation donated $2,000.00 to the girl and her family to help cover some of their personal expenses.<p> The mission of this Foundation is to give hope and comfort to underprivileged children fighting cancer. <p> I presented her with her own crown and sash. This brought lots of smiles.$

May 4, 2010 - Wasie Foundation - On May 4th, I attended an event sponsored by the Wasie Foundation for 4 cancer patients and their families. The Foundation provides financial assistance and support to families with children suffering with cancer, arthritis, schizophrenia and other medical problems. <p>
